It will take you approximately eight or nine minutes to read what I have written here, and then a few more minutes to accept an\u00a0invitation I wish to extend to you. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n I know that seems like <\/span>a lot of time<\/span><\/span> in these busy, hectic days when all of us want to read everything\u00a0in 90 seconds or less —\u00a0but over the course of your life, you will see it as a\u00a0<\/span>minuscule\u00a0time investment. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n So if you would grant me the favor of giving me those few minutes, I think it could make a real difference on our planet…and I know<\/em> it could make a huge difference in your life.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n I’d like to talk with you about the cause of the wildly rampant dysfunction we are seeing in our world today, and how — with really very little effort — we can change things so that we do not have to saddle our children and our grandchildren with all of this…or even worse.<\/p>\n Our global nightmare is being created by our beliefs.\u00a0<\/em>We keep trying to change the behaviors of people in the world, when what we should be trying to change is beliefs. Principally, our beliefs about God. For those are the beliefs that undergird most of the laws and institutions, customs and conventions of human beings—even for those who do not believe in God.<\/p>\n I address all of this in a major new\u00a0book just released. The title of the book is GOD’S MESSAGE TO THE WORLD:\u00a0<\/strong>You’ve Got Me All Wrong<\/strong>…<\/em>and it is\u00a0a spiritual wake-up\u00a0that offers daring and striking alternatives\u00a0about the ideas\u00a0 billions\u00a0hold about God that\u00a0are simply untrue, about the terrible effect those ideas\u00a0are continuing to have on our world every day—and about how a more accurate view of God could change the world overnight<\/em> if more people were aware of the errors our species has been making.<\/p>\n I believe that with one reading of GOD’S MESSAGE TO THE WORLD: You’ve Got Me All Wrong,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>the accuracy of what it is communicating will be immediately self-apparent. This, in turn, will launch a global desire for change. Change in the Cultural Story that we are telling ourselves and our offspring—which, in turn, will produce a change in the way we treat ourselves and each other, resulting in a massive shift in how we create and experience life on this planet.<\/p>\n You cannot change social conditions by trying to change the conditions themselves. Do you know how long we\u2019ve been trying to eradicate simple hunger in this world? Do you know how many non-profit organizations have been, and continue to be, undertaking that task?<\/p>\n This is just one example of our utter impotence. There are others. The eradication of cruelty to women. The elimination of political persecution for anyone holding views opposite to those in authority. The list goes on and on…and on.<\/p>\n Unjust, cruel, and inhumane\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>social conditions And the ideas\u00a0that the bulk of humanity holds about God head the list of the beliefs that\u00a0set the tone, offer the rationale, provide the justification, and supply the “moral authority” in support of the most heinous, violent, dysfunctional\u00a0behaviors of our species.<\/p>\n I am suspecting that most of you reading this already agree with what\u2019s being said here. The challenge\u00a0is to get more and more people\u00a0to explore these ideas, to see if they<\/em> can agree. \u00a0\u201cNothing,\u201d Victor Hugo famously said, \u201cnot all the armies in the world, can stop an idea whose time has come.\u201d But first, the idea must be put \u201cout there.\u201d That\u2019s what this new book\u00a0<\/em>is designed to do. It is designed to put the evolutionarily revolutionary thoughts in Conversations with God<\/em> into the Marketplace of Ideas in a new way; in a highly focused way; in a dramatically and profoundly impactful way.<\/p>\n Read the five sample chapters found at the link I’ve supplied below.
