{"id":4971,"date":"2013-04-16T23:10:57","date_gmt":"2013-04-17T03:10:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theglobalconversation.com\/blog\/?p=4971"},"modified":"2013-04-16T23:10:57","modified_gmt":"2013-04-17T03:10:57","slug":"to-you-i-promise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theglobalconversation.com\/blog\/?p=4971","title":{"rendered":"To you I promise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\"><strong><i>The only good thing about bad things,<br \/>\nis that it brings people together in love.<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong><i>Love will always prevail.\u00a0 Always.<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For many, the past 24 hours has been filled with tears and disbelief in regards to the terrible bombing that took place at the Boston Marathon.\u00a0 It is hard for us to wrap our hearts around why anyone would choose to do this to innocent people.\u00a0 Our televisions have been filled with images of explosions, chaos, disbelief, and reporters frantically running about trying to get as many details to the public as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, our eyes have seen\u00a0way too many images of anguish lately instead of happiness.\u00a0 But\u00a0here is where the pivotal\u00a0decision comes in\u2026 we can either choose to curl up and wallow in fear about the state of our world, or we can stand up in <i>love<\/i>\u00a0and continue to spread our light across a bleak landscape.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Join me in\u2026 Choosing\u00a0to love.\u00a0 Choosing to smile.\u00a0 Choosing to help your neighbor.\u00a0 Choosing kindness over hatred.\u00a0 Choosing understanding over judgement.\u00a0 Choosing life over death.\u00a0 Choosing to\u00a0RISE and SHINE your light onto others of this world.\u00a0 That is what this world so desperately needs right now\u2026<\/strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><em><b>love.<\/b><\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It was not that long ago I was sitting\u00a0at my\u00a0notebook, writing words to\u00a0those suffering after the mass shooting in Newtown.\u00a0 When yesterday\u2019s tragedy happened, I was immediately drawn back to the original\u00a0post.\u00a0 I re-read it and saw clearly that this letter is my promise to anyone, anywhere that is suffering\u2026 This, my friends,\u00a0is\u00a0My Promise to You!<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>When you no longer hope; I will hope for you<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>When you no longer believe; I will believe for you<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>When you no longer love; I will love for you<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>When you no longer see the light; I will see it for you<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>When you no longer can stand the pain; I will stand it for you<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>When you can no longer shed a tear; I will shed tears for you<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>When you can no longer get up; I will carry you!<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>I feel your heart and I feel your pain.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>Do whatever it is you need to do to heal.\u00a0 Go through any process you need to go through to bring peace\u2026\u00a0 I understand if you want to take a break from the game of life for a while.\u00a0 I understand if you want to hunker down in solitude with your loved ones and escape the world\u2026 bury yourself in your blankets and never come out.\u00a0 Please do whatever it is you need to do during this time, and trust that myself, and millions of others, will take care of holding the space, light and love until you are ready to come back to the game.\u00a0 I will save your spot for you.\u00a0 I will be there for you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>We will all be there for you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>Until then, you will be missed but I look forward to greeting you with open arms upon your return.\u00a0 Trust that all will be fine until then.<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobalconversation.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Jaimie-Schultz.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-4970\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"Jaimie Schultz\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theglobalconversation.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Jaimie-Schultz.jpg\" width=\"90\" height=\"146\" \/><\/a><\/em>(Jaimie Schultz , a\/k\/a Pajamas, is<b>\u00a0<\/b>a fun-loving, passionate, adventure seeker who loves life and loves helping others see how much they should love theirs.
